Christian outreach event

Thousands of people came together for a major Christian outreach event in Leicester this weekend. People from in and around the city – and much further afield – were told to “come just as you are” and support the annual Fire and Glory event in Leicester’s city centre.

Fire and Glory is the city’s biggest Christian outreach event and showcased some of the brightest talent on the Christian music scene. Celebrations were led by Resonance and the Lighthouse Choir – which incorporates singers, rappers and evangelists.

The event was dubbed a successful day of “worship, praise and thanksgiving” by Christian News Today. During the event, spiritualists and healers were on hand to offer support and guidance – including the Jesus Loves Leicestershire (JLL) Ministry Team.

JLL chairman Paul Hall told the news provider: “We have been working tirelessly to bring together Christians from a wide variety of denominations through unity, outreach and entertainment.”
