Family Force 5 Dance or Die

Family Force 5 takes its Christian sound in a different direction on its sophomore release, “Dance or Die.” It’s got the feel of an ’80s electronic dance CD with a modern screamo twist.

And every song makes you want to dance; “Dance or Die” and “Rip it Up” in particular could be on the play-list of a disco DJ. The band’s Christianity is apparent in songs such as “D-I-E-4-Y-O-U” but for the most part it is not obvious.

Overall I enjoyed this CD much more than their last record due to its uniqueness. I recommend it to anybody who likes screamo, electronic or Christian rock.
