Jars of Clay The Long Fall Back to Earth

Longstanding Christian rock crew Jars of Clay release their 10th studio album, titled The Long Fall Back to Earth , on April 21 via their own Gray Matters imprint and Essential Records.

The set’s lead-off single, “ Two Hands ,” hit Christian radio late last month, and according to singer Dan Haseltine, the track encapsulates the album’s overall themes of relationship and community.

“That song touches a very simple longing in our hearts for unity under one roof, so to speak,” Haseltine said in a statement. “One side of us wants to serve Christ and love others, while the other side is concerned only with looking out for ourselves. By reconciling the sides of our heart — both good and bad — to bring the full weight of who we are in Christ, we can use our hands to serve and love others well in a way that honors Him.”

The band is finalizing tour plans to support the album; dates and markets are due to be announced soon.
