Popular Christian rock musicians Michael W. Smith and Steven Curtis Chapman are touring together for the first time, including a stop at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Genesee Theatre in north suburban Waukegan.

Their “United” tour brings together the two committed singer/songwriters, both with more than 20 years of performing under their belts, not to mention huge album sales and loads of top awards.

Chapman’s latest album is “This Moment,” and Smith’s is “A New Hallelujah.”
